Our 24 Hour Meditation Vigil will be for the same reason as our first Vigil, which is to dedicate ourselves to World Peace through raising individual consciousness in Love and Light in order to then raise the collective consciousness in Love and Light.
As we meditate together, we will work towards World Peace through Ahinsa (non-violence) and Reverence for all Life.
Saturday, April 21, starting at 7:00 pm (gather at 6:30 pm) we will have an Opening Ceremony of Chanting, Prayer, and Meditation. Every hour on the hour the Navkar Mantra will be played on the stereo (this would be the time to either come in or leave the Sanctuary).
Everyone who is staying or entering will then listen to the Navkar Mantra and finish the hour with silent meditation. During the 24-hour period we will be keeping the Vigil with Chanting, Meditation and Silence.
Stay as long as you can. If you desire to take a break and come back, you can do so anytime during the 24 Hour Vigil. People may lie down on the couch, in the office or go outside or home and return.
At 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 22, the meditation vigil will end at the conclusion of our Candlelight service.
We know, from our studies, that everything changes, beginning with the Self first.
As we are doing this vigil for World Peace and Harmony – for Healing and Love, the Individual first must experience these things.
Please also have the following considerations:
1. When you leave the Santuary, please maitain SILENCE in your departure.
2. Also, when you leave the building please observe SILENCE.
3. You may want to stop by the Practitioners room for snacks or a beverage – please maintain SILENCE, as much as possible.
4. Please do not wear cologne, perfume or after-shave because of peoples sensitivities.
5. We will have a Guest Registry. Please sign it for many blessed reasons.
If you cannot come to the Center, please plan time to do some extra special meditating wherever you are.
Mention this to any group you know. Our goal is to have as many meditators all over the world to join with us wherever they are.
Namaste, Love and Blessings to All,
Board of Directors of the Lighthouse Center
