The Lighthouse Center is a supportive meditation community. Why meditate? The positive effects of meditation include (but are not limited to) reduction of stress, feeling more relaxed and rejuvenated mentally, emotionally and physically. Meditation helps one to set aside the ego to enable increased mental clarity, attain a sense of inner peace and expand one's spiritual awareness. It also helps develop and increase one's intuition and openness of the Heart. And ultimately it enables one to increasingly commune with God. We offer many spiritual, growth-related and health inducing programs -- see our Calendar and Programs Offered pages for details.
In addition to meditation the Lighthouse spiritual community loves to have fun . We come together over the year for a variety of social events. Besides our monthly crystal bowl concerts, we begin the New Year with a “Message Party” where we gather channeled messages which give us a glimpse of our personal journey in the coming year. Then we celebrate with a Chinese New Year’s party, Solstice gatherings, dinner with movie nights, musical performances and concerts, and our annual summer picnic and open house.

MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Lighthouse Center is for personal spiritual development.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
There is a Universal Divine Consciousness within everyone.
The Truth has many aspects, and we respect other points of view.
For this we study all religions, philosophies, spiritual practices, traditions, and inquiry into the nature of Consciousness.
We strive to live with non-violence in our thoughts, words, actions and lifestyle; and in acting as examples of humanity expressing our love and compassion to all.
In doing our meditations and spiritual practices, we begin to successfully live at peace with ourselves and in the world
